We offer our clients with:
- Re-Refined Used Lubricating Base Oil (HV)
- Re-Refined Used Lubricating Base Oil (LV)
First stage: Distillation
- It involves dehydration at about 200° C at atmospheric pressure to remove light gas oil and water vapor.
- Depending on the quality of input oil, provision of vacuum system is also provided.
- We vaporise and condense water and fuels and after gravity separation of the same, we are left with lighter phase that is used as fuel.
- After distillation stage, the bottoms derived from that stage are passed through a heating process at about 350° C under high vacuum.
- It is then followed by spraying of oil in vacuum distillation column, further vaporising and condensing base oils and spindle oils.
- The bottom residue thus obtained contain heavy metals & other impurities. the residue is asphaltic in nature and the refined oil is stored after cooling.
- Obtained condensate is treated with about 3% clay at about 200o C. Further it is forwarded to next distillation column to remove spindle oil and light gas oil from it, at about 300 degree C. Then the bottom is filtered through plate filter to obtain re-refined base oil. Second grade base oil can also be obtained, by filtering the condensate through plate filter.
